Yes it can. I don't see what everyone is bitching about. Sure, Obama's spending too much, but he's doing a hell of a lot better job than Bush was.

He's doing nothing but what Bush left behind...spending. Oh and trying to force us to take on his ridiculous healthcare Bill.

Oh and a flat tax would be nice. Palin 2012

I don't like Palin but I'd take her over Obama in a heart beat.

Palin is your standard say what they need to politician. And she's inexperienced. But still more experienced than our liar Pres Obama. But I still wouldn't vote for her unless it came down to her vs Obama.

I find the Republicans funny as hell right now. The tea party is saying less spending and now all of a sudden we have a bunch of Republicans repeating less spending. Where the fuck were you guys over the last 2 years??

People can say what they want about Palin, but the people she governed in Alaska thought very highly of her based on her job performance, and not based on half-truths and media smears.

The flip side of that is Obama, who accomplished little to nothing as a Senator but was propped up by a complicit media.

Obama has said many stupid things ("campaigned in 55 of 57 states, breathalyzers for hospitalized kids", etc...) yet he gets a free pass from the media while someone like Palin gets excoriated for minor verbal gaffes.

Imagine if Palin said she campaigned in all but two of the 57 states like Obama did?

It would be running 24/7 on the news channels, along with polls asking if she is qualified to be President.

Strangely enough, the media ran polls asking the same in 2008 about Palin despite the fact that she was running for VP and no such questions were asked about Obama.

The media basically did to Palin what they did to Dan Quayle 16 years ago.

Quayle misspelled a word and the media gutted him.

Yet Obama can say and do the stupidest things without a word of criticism from the media.

Sadly, most people are too busy or are intellectually lazy to do their own research and basically vote for whoever their newspaper endorses or whoever gets the most favorable media coverage.

And now, a majority of people have "buyers remorse" and his job approval ratings continue to plummet.

Like I said, he's an empty suit.

My point isn't about who would be better, and Palin wasn't on the top of the ticket.

The point is, many voters are intellectually lazy and the media are shameless cheerleaders for Dems.

The end result is someone like Boy Blunder ends up in the White House.
