The car is a turd. I talked to a saleman who sold them (above sticker price, they had people lined up out the door) and he himself said it was hands down the worst car he's ever sold.

What's remarkable is that all the people that drive them, are complete morons. Every last one of them.

It might have been the worst car I've ever driven. There is NOTHING good to say about it.
We should have let Chrysler fail.

the back seat has a lot of headroom and leg room due to the abnormal height inside the cabin...

Ehhh they handle like shit but my parents is pretty quick for a mini van thing. Its the 03 GT . My dad loves it and wants to do some upgrades to the turbo setup a new header and a gt28. I dont like it but Id buy one because its comfortable.

Sure PT's are POS's, but they're sooo cheap.
Drive a car that is direct comparison to them and they aren't too bad actually. aka kia rondo.

Yeah, PT's are a classic POS. I had one for my wife, until it got smashed in a wreck (thank god). no power, horrendous gas mileage (22 yr old E30 gets much better mileage), seats like a fucking park bench. The only real redeeming feature was that we could fit us, the kid and the dogs in it, and not have to take my truck.

I drove my neighbor's PT Cruiser home from Home Depot (albeit with a load of 75 retaining wall stones...) and it was god-awful. Cheapest piece of shit I've ever had the misfortune of driving. The handling and overall driving feel (especially the shifter and throttle response) are far worse than my grandmother's 95 Windstar...and that thing is pretty bad.

I drove the SRT6 Crossfire or whatever when i used to work for a dealership. and i was impressed. It was quick and handled amazing too.

The x-fire is a whole different ball of wax....

Didn't Merc have something to do with that?
