    Another one of those threads.

So I'm finally moving out of the parents house within two weeks or so. I want my room to look more 'classy' and 'mature' if you will. As usual, I'm looking for a cool BMW poster, as I kinda already have an idea as to what the rest of the room will be filled with. Any suggestions on bed spread (comfyness and color ideas), in table thingy, ect would be cool. The walls are white, and I don't think I can change them, so I'd like the room to flow. Plus, ladies always like simplicity and all of that good jazz :)

I've looked on amazon and ebay, but they don't really have e30/e30 M3 posters that are the vintage ones. Doing some searching on here, I've found that Lance has an AMAZING collection of posters: http://r3vlimited.com/board/showthre...ght=bmw+poster

Anywho, I'm just really excited to move out and be on my own. I'm 19 and ready to do my own thing! WOOT!

        First? Lol.

Yeah I'm having a difficult time finding the 'right' one. I've gandered at a few, but none have stuck out to me that I can get my hands on. Lame.

Thanks! At first I was kind of iffy about it, but now I've realized all the great things that will come from it all.

First to post lol... I was in a similar boat... He had some really really cool prints, but I didn't get em. Old either black and white, or antique (like the yellow-ish hue or whatever) pics of old e30m3 race cars on track, and a few 2002s and stuff.

Dude. Car posters are neither classy nor mature.

Oh, gotcha. I would not mind a 2002 tii poster.

Well it's not going to be just a poster. I'll get it in a glass frame with black trim around it. I'm just not sure what to put on the walls (probably just a wall?) without it looking boring. There has to be something on it! Lol.

i don't have too many poster ideas aside from finding a jpeg you really love and having it printed, but i do want to let you know that depending on the size, the cost to frame a poster can be prohibitive. i went to a frame shop to ask about the 41x59 poster i have, and the cheapest frame they could make for me was almost $200. to mount it on styrofoam was like $40 or so. I've had the poster rolled up for two years now... haha

Hmm never thought of that one lol. When I searched on here, a post of yours came up and you mentioned how large the poster was haha.

I'm just looking to do my room right. I'm not in HS anymore, and I want the room to reflect that. I'd also like to incorporate a BMW poster or something BMW in general..preferably a car from the 60s-80s (2002s, 1600s, e30s, M cars, ect).

If you want to be classy or mature, you need to get something like this, and get a nice frame.

Probably gonna have to go to an Ikea for your furniture, either keep it light and make the room modern otherwise get some stain and make all the wood a darker color and keep everything simple and organized.

For bedding something solid colored, probably a color that will not show the stains. Maybe a tan, bitches will like someone with duvets and all that other crap but unless you keep the bed made it will just look like crap. If you get cheap linens just tie up some tennis balls in an old sock or two and put them all in the dryer to get them broken in.

I was just on allposter and they have a framed photo of BMW Welt, that could work they also have a vintage print but those are both framed so they are a rip, you might have to find them on your own and get them printed out.

Agreed. But what about Spuds Mackenzie posters?

I think you should forgo the car posters and attend one of those Home interior parties where you get all the high end "classy" stuff pre-framed. nice examples of countryside watercolors and kids with huge eyes.

Yeah there's an Ikea in Portland by PDX, so it's not that far away. I'm gonna be going to a few stores for stuff for the room.
