Back in the days, there were two white funk bands: Averange White Band, and Tower of Power. As was mentionned, TOP sounded bigger (horn section).

Luke, those are the exact same albums I have!!

Every time I've seen TOP, AWB has been the opener. (probably seen them a half-dozen times) The 10-foot flames coming out of the trumpet is always a nice touch. And, yes, Rocco is the man.
