I do the same as Craig4ie, find some local unflitered honey and eat 2 spoonfuls every morning starting a few months before summer, this and a neti pot has done wonders for my allergies for a few years now.

    Doods!

Since I was about 15 years old, I've had allergies February through May...getting progressively worse every year. They were horrible last season. I grew up with 3 cats in my household without problems, but in recent years I can't go near them. I began to HATE spring every year.

    but...

This year I researched ahead of time. I hate taking any form of un-natural medication (hippy shit, I know) so I asked around about natural allergy remedies and got several responses...with the best results being...eating a spoonful of local wildflower honey every day.

I bought some wildflower honey from a local supplier ahead of this year's season and the first couple days I started feeling huffy and scratchy I began taking one spoonful of honey each day and continued throughout the season.

I had NO fucking allergies this year...none...nothing. This has been the best spring I can remember. I can breathe, chase cats and dogs and do all those stupid things you see people doing in the allergy commercials without a care in the world.

The way it works is that you ingest the local pollens your body thinks it hates that are contained within the honey and you build up an immunity. I'm definately no doctor or naturalist, and this probably won't work for everyone but for the price of one jar of honey why not try it. In my situation it took about a week to kick in so it doesn't work right away.

I've been telling everyone I know who suffers from allergies, hopefully it works for someone else here.

I'll give it a try thanks.

I've been miserable all week. It doesn't help that I was at a friend's house who has a shedding dog. I'm allergic to dog dandruff.

you guys remember The Rock? Those fucking things remind me of this:

I personally hate that tree now.

On the other hand, I found some left over Zaditor and I'm picking up that nasal joint.

and for that neti pot thing, somewhere, someone is having a laugh at those who use that version of the product.
