New car?

Im getting a new car soon. Here is what im looking for:
25k spending limit. used. preferably a coupe from years 1998-2007. 6 speed manual. and most importantly FAST.
I was thinking an e46 m3 because of this...

Let me know what you guys think. This car will be a DD and I need it to last for 1.5-2 years and traffic is NOT an issue.

you'll like it if yo find one in good condition, and u should be able to for that much
might look for a 128i also
almost as fast but smaller/lighter and probably still has factory warranty

Its nice, but not quite what I am looking for. I want a fast DD and keep it as close as possible to stock.
