cool... I was looking at some 12awg speaker wire for my HT.

I see they have the Dayton and no name brand. I think I'm going to pick up some of the Dayton.

I notice Parts Express prices have stayed low, or even gone down. I used to buy everything from Waytek, but they have gotten expensive.

I have recently bought connectors and waterproof relays from Parts Express, and they were good quality and cheap.

I also have built a couple of their subwoofer kits for my house, and they shake the whole room.

BOught an inexpensive speaker kit (BR-1s) which sound fantastic for the money and they are even on sale right for only $119. Also just picked up a set of speaker stands that were reasonably priced and good quality.

Happy to do business witht hem.

Yeah, but 12ga is for setups over 200 WPC, IMO, and only then if you have long runs, like over 70 feet or so.

                  12ga is MASSIVE overkill.

No matter what, most any receiver is gonna overheat badly with 4 ohm speakers.

I have a 4ohm stable AVR...so far not much heat. It is rated @ 245wpc...I think 12ga would be sufficient..

Monoprice's site is off line for maintenance. :(

Have you looked at cardomain.com I used them quite a bit about 9 years ago. PE is also good, 2 orders from there.
