I've only heard good things about Honda's. I almost bought an RR a week ago but was trying not to dent my savings/budget and was more than what I wanted to spend.

Picked up an 03 R6 the other day. Cosmetically it needs a bit of work, but I'm going to be doing quite a bit to it. The engine is in great shape though. Only 3k miles. I can see myself holding onto for quite awhile. It's already in dozens of pieces in my garage, had to replace the battery since it had dead cells. At the time I decided it was a good time to see how bad fairings were, I'll be sanding them down and painting it. Before I knew it It was almost all apart. I realized why the rear fender was off center at that instant, the rear seat frame is bent. I talked the price down quite a bit because of cosmetics I honestly don't think the previous owner knew the original owner did as much damage to it, but I'll just make do at this point. After selling my Ninja I'm only out $400. So I'm not upset.

wow... It's not a bad bike but you just couldn't wait for an R6 to pop up? or a 636?

I've been riding my R6 for about 3months now. its a 2004. I love it.

having test ridden both an 06 RR and an 05 R6, I ultimately chose the RR because it was more comfortable for street riding. So far I've put on over 6k miles with it and loved every minute of it. My friend is going with an R6, I can't wait to compare them on the track :)

+1 on the Honda or Kaw.

Not big fan of Yamaha some of them are shitty to work on. Suzuki's are fun, but they are always beat to shit.

Good score on the TT. I haven't ridden them, but am a big fan of Triumph. They are a very under-appreciated bike.

"Hey, where should we put the oil drain bolt? Directly over the headers? OK!"

Nice one, I find it funny that the only people who give me shit about my 636, all happen to ride (or used to ride, even worse) gsxr's.

I'm more than happy which side of the argument I ended up on :P
