    Used vinyl records

I regularly buy new and used vinyl records. Both for DJing or to listen at home. Usually, I buy them from a few local shops, and get rare or older 12" from www.discogs.com at very decent prices, and I don't waste hours going thru boxes of records (even though I really like the ambiance at used DJ records shops). Actually, I always know exactly what I want. I purchase about four to five 12" per week.

Any experience with other online sources for used records?

Also, looking for a good quality US-made aluminum flight case that can hold 70-80 12" records. Any experience?

Ah, ah, ah. Vinyl records must propably remind you of your childhood as an abused and beaten kid. No wonder you despise vinyl... ;-)

No idea why you aren't banned yet.

It's not like you provide a hint of entertainment like a few of the other goons who post here.

Doode I have probably around 30 old vinyl records that my boss gave to me a few years back. All look to be in prime condition, though I don't have a record player. Stuff ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Grand Funk Railroad, and a bunch of other stuff that I can't come up with right now. I don't really know what to do with them either...
              anyone interested in them?

I can get the titles and bands of each vinyl I have if someone is interested in them. I have no idea what is rare and what isn't. Probably none of it is though.

                Lee,

I've had that exact same case for over 10 yrs, not really DJ-gigging anymore, but it held up to some serious party-ing. I last bought vinyl in person right off Haight-Ashbury (SF has great vinyl stores) so I cannot comment on purchasing via the web.

best of luck to your ventures..

I collect old Punk Rock records. I used to go to the swap meets early in the morning sat and sunday. I loved looking for them I came across so many rare records that were basically being given away. Due to the fact that I lost my job I havent had money to buy, but I hope to soon. I love vinyl last longer than cds. hahahha
