Wow that was very impresive. Is that an sr300 because if I had your skill I'd be upgrading my bass before I ever touched my car! Not that it's a bad instrument but your a damn profesional quality player you should have an sr3000!

Interesting you should bring up Michael Hedges. The guy who payed bass on most of his stuff is Michael Manring who basically (haha, get it? I crack me up) designed the Zon "Hyperbass", and is easily the single biggest creator/inventer of any kind of "Harmonic" bass play IMO.

Manring has several types of basses but if I remember correctly, all of those tuning keys have a tunable quick drop. And I even remember that the bridge has a drop. So essencially he can have 4 notes per open string. Just nutty! I have a "how to" vid of him. He is just on another level all together.

Are you using anything at the nut for your pull offs, or are you pulling off to a fretted note?

their electronics are the best ive ever played. tonal range was rediculess. they take 1 pickup and test it against 80 others to find the quietest match, they spray silver paint on the internals.
