People Who Have Taken The NREMT Test

What # did you get to on the test? Did you pass or fail?

Took my test today, I got to around 120. The last time I checked I was at 111 and I only did a few more until it stopped. Shouldnt be more than 120. I was really worried but my buddy said his EMT instructor said most people pass in the range of 70-140. This put me a little more at ease but I still have to wait til Monday for the results.

    Edit: This is for EMT-B

I think you still only need above 75% to pass.

My experience was that the NR was ABCs to the end, if you felt like that, and answered with that philosophy you're probably good to go.

Let us know how you did when you find out Monday.

Pretty sure its 70% over here and I just learned after my test that different questions are worth more points then others...interesting.

Ya I can't believe this type of work only brings in 8-12 dollars an hour. I guess since it takes a year at the most to complete the schooling the pay is adequate. And any retard can do it. Proof is my friend who is an emt for a private ambulance company, the shit he does at work just blows my fucking mind.

Actually, over here in CA FFs get the best fucking pay ever. My friends dad rakes in 120k as an engineer.

Santa Clara Fire Dept. is rediculous. For training (right after getting hired), its 6-8 weeks paid @ 26.50 an hour which equates to 4k a month.

I passed with the test stopping at 110 questions. What company are you looking to work for? I'm local too.

My buddy works for AMR in tampa, makes 8 dollars an hour. I don't believe he is a licensed EMT though, he is unable to administer medicine or anything but usually is first on the scene to smaller non life threatening calls. But 8 dollars an hour seriously?

EMT-Bs can only give oral glucose, activated charcoal, and o2

A year is a lot for only that much. You can become a CNA in 2 months and minmum pay at most places is $14/hour.

Well I found out today that I failed. Im not too worried about it though. I get to study for the next 2 weeks and this was a good experience. My test focused a lot on protocol kinda stuff, which isnt what I was expecting so I didnt study that much in that category.

Edit: Below passing in EMS operations/Trauma. Gotta focus on those.

Just took a 75 question practice test and got a 83% FML...
