    Syclone/Typhoon, GN/GN-X, hell maybe even a GTA might qualify more than that Opel.

    An S50 E30 will make quick work of most production cars today, let alone in 1990. Dumb comparison.

    I've always thought all M5s were very understated styling-wise, if you didn't know your shit generally only the big wheels would give it away.

    Edit: and since that was just mentioned, how about the Lotus Carlton. It was really an Opel (German) but Lotus made the engine.

    Not super understated, but I really like this car. 380hp 410ftlbs, TT 3.6 I6.
