Turbo or Matching Block and Transmission

I recently bought and impeccable conditions Red and Tan E30 325is. I bought the car with the idea, to make a perfect car for BMW Club rally events (That means 7-9psi turbo). I've have used it now for a week, i don't know if I want to sacrifice the purity of this car for a bit more fun???

Any ideas?
