I read a book today. A book in it's entirety. 463 pages of book. I realized that reading satisfies a different part of the mind. A part that TV or movies or even music cannot readily satisfy. I used my imagination for the purpose of creating the vivid picture which the book was so readily drawing for me as I read deeper and deeper. I feel as if reading gives you more insight in basic life discussions as well as a sort of peace that cannot be acquired by any other means other than reading. It is as if someone put their very mind into words, bound it to the paper which it was printed on, and then distributed it to all those willing to read. Though a book holds very little physical value, it's worth its weight in gold to the proper, embracing mind. After reading this book, I feel like a Pokemon would feel like just as it begins evolving.
