Those guys look like bums, especially the long-haired dude. I'm surprised they were intelligent enough to keep their shit together for that long. By my rough calculations, it would take 600 plants yielding over 4oz each to equal even $1 million "street value" at $50 per 1/8th oz. It's hard to imagine fitting 600 plants that large in a 1,500 sq ft basement even if there was nothing but the plants themselves in there. Not to mention it's pretty unlikely those guys are selling it "on the street" by the 1/8th. Probably selling it at a substantially lower rate at much larger quantities. I think the news/police "street value" of things is usually a little off. I don't know why though, because drug task forces and shit definitely have a good idea of that kinda stuff. I guess the guys who know aren't the ones writing the statements.
