Headed to Phoenix AZ. What to do??

Like the title says. I am headed there the 27th-30th of this month for a highschool graduation. I will have a rental car that I am willing to beat the shit out of and that normally would be all the fun I need, but I suppose I would ask for some other ideas. So, what should I do????

Grand Canyon?

See a baseball game?

Any Nascar races that week? ;-)

there's some good roads out through the desert. Phoenix is a big place- where will you be staying? What kind of scene are you looking for? Mill Ave. in Tempe is fantastic- right by ASU. Old Town Scottsdale is cool too, but more upscale and catering to career-oriented professionals (read: yuppies). North Scottsdale is for rich playboys and Cougars.

There's lots to do outside too, but it's damn hot so I'd advise you to do anything like that at night or early in the morning.

Grand Canyon is a 6 hour drive away.

Go to Scottsdale and party. I love AZ is a great place to live or visit.

Grand Canyon is far away and is just a big ditch. If you are in the Prescott area then let me know, that's where I live and I know of a very good mountain road literally minutes away.

It's not that bad, but then again I hate the cold and find it too cold in Prescott. I don't even have A/C in the car.

May be a track day out at Firebird international Raceway that weekend if you wanna check that out? About 45 mins from where you're staying.

I am totally up for that. I hope my rental car has good tires and brakes on it, because its going to need them when I am done. I will look up that raceway and check that out.

Oh your right next where I used to live, where your staying used to be a farm that I got drunk at multiple times, now its bars.....that I get drunk at when I visit. Hell's Half Acre is a cool bar, all bartenders have HUGE fake tits so its atleast entertaining for a bit......Its supposed to be 90's this week so get the a/c on if your not used to our spring weather....What day is the graduation and for what high school....... my sister is graduating Friday for Peoria H.S. at the University of Phoenix stadium I believe.
