I have so many theories buzzing around, I can't put them into type, this is one of those things that must be argued in person.

Each theory can't be called stupid, everyone interpreted their own way. But me? I'm just glad that Frank Lapidis lives (lives is open to interpretation), that's all that mattered.

Under one theory the church was those who formed cohesive relationships while on the island, although missing some. Ben formed a loose relationship with everybody, just as Desmond did, but due to Ben's evils on the island he couldn't enter. Ben was condemned to hell under this theory.

although ben said he "wasnt ready to enter" yet, that he still had stuff to take care of. meaning he could have if he wanted to?

Or that due to the fact that those who had unfinished business could not cross on, which is why you do not see Michael, who appeared to Hurley saying he was stuck on the island and could not move on, just as Ben is. In which case, Ben wouldn't be damned to hell but to remain in limbo. If you view EVERYONE on the island being dead from the beginging of episode 1 (if you see the very end of the finale, the wreckage is on the beach, not turned into camp, implying that everyone died in the crash) then the events of all 6 seasons if the characters, even the others and the Darhma people, being in limbo. Basically, like in the south park episode where they waited for Michael Jackson to board the plane before going to heaven, the island was their plane (south park reference, if you don't get it, forget about it). This would mean that the actions the characters took on the island as the island was purgatory throughout the series determined their fate. The remaining characters chose between Jacob's side and the man in black's side, which personifies the duality of light and dark that was present from the very first episode.

Yeah, I have three solid theories that I can't beside between and each time I talk about it with friends and I can't pick one. I'm just glad Frank lived, that badass motherfucker.

No sir you are not. And the woman who played Juliet who is also in "V," for being 40, yes.
