Anybody ever buy one online or anything? I want to get one for my dad as a log book for his burfday. Only thing is I've found one at a local store for 68 dollars. Not sure If thats a good price or not. Anybody know of a good online store to get one?

Staples man, they have all kinds of them for 15 bucks and up.
I have and keep 2-3 of them for various shit. my personal (interactions with customers that may not be favorable, my personal money expenditures and stuff like that) stuff while at work. Also keep my own personal note book of what I do at work (plus all the daily reports I have to turn in every day) along with a survey log of what when where and why. I normally turn give that to the customer at the end of a long job as a secondary record.
I like the long skinny ones or the engineers/surveyors filed book, as opposed to the full size journal pads. But thats just me.

If it were me I would get the Orvis one and have it Personalized with your pops name or initials on it and what not. Yeah its expensive but some times the extra mile is the way to go.
