The mass exodus of Californians and Texans did have quite an impact on Colorado. Most notably, all the cool places to live became unaffordable. So us locals couldn't afford to live in the same places we grew up. The house I lived in while I was in middle school...1996 or so was about 200g when we lived there. Now that house is 800g.

I moved out here because it was a small town, because it did not have all that city crap, I moved out here because thats where I wanted to live. I am a rural person with NORMAL sense of how things are in a small town. I dont and never would want to change things to suit ME as the I moved there. Its my job to adapt to the new place, the tards form CA just want change everything to SoCal with 6 months of snow, and they drive real estate through the roof, and turn the entire economy into 7 dollar an hour service jobs to serve their every whim while they are here 2 weeks outta the year. Tourists I can handle, same with the skiers, but its the ones that buy a house and are maybe 2 weeks a year, then try to get the shooting ranges shut down ITS FUCKING MONTANA WE HAVE GUNS AND USE THEM. the rages have been here long before your house was you bought it knowing it was there.

They are getting Back country Trail rides (horses) shut down, because they think it hurts the environment (its a once a year ride) they have pushed real estate so high in the last 7 years that, there are TONS of people that have lived here for generations and hold deeds to property signed by presidents, that are now getting taxed out of it. Because of the reassessment last year and now the taxes are more than many peoples annual income (IE ranch taxes going from 2200 a year 36,000 because all the sudden the land value is 12mill rather than 200k) these people here cant afford that shit so they have to sell it off little by little at huge inflated prices just to make taxes every year. I can go on and on, but I wont, I think you get the pic. I moved out here to embrace the life style I have always wanted something that was hard if not imposable to do in MI, not bring my life style and force someone else to change to suit my needs /rant

Listen up all you fuck sticks. The worst thing you can do is befriend your neighbor and get into a battle with them.

If they are doing something illegal than it's a different story.

Trust me when I tell you it's not worth it, either be a man and talk to them to work it out, if that doesn't work just ignore them completely and do not say one word to them, it will piss them of even more and will eat them alive.

If you start calling the town or cops on them that will make matters worse for you, they hate neighbor disputes.

I've been down this path before and just ignored my neighbor completely and in the end they showed their true colors of being trash.
They wrote letters to the town and called the cops on me and everytime the came to my house they would say how they hate people that call them out for stupid things. And would take my side no matter what.

thank you for your insight, its touching to know you care so much. Most People leaving CA are white they are trying to escape the flood of brown, and punitive taxes, unfriendly to business and all kinds of other shit, so that plan is out.
