It may be stupid to race on public highways with traffic, but are you saying you would never jump on it when challenged by a high-end car just to show them up in a 20 year old BMW? (Im not saying 180mph pulls here)
No I'd never do it in a 20 yr old BMW, mine is 35.:hitler:

Are your tires even rated for 180 mph?

You have some rust by your tail light. Smooth that out a tad and prolly hit 187 wit character. That is a serious machine you have there.

its not like Good n tight hasnt contributed anythign to future M30'ers or Turbo M10'ers anyway....

pretty much successfully reinvented the wheel, and is showing us the limits, so that we don have to.

                If it actually happened.

if has 359rwhp as stated witht he proper gearing it is not totally out of line. I pulled my Dinan E24 M6 to 170 and im guessing that car was 300 at the wheels and alot more aerodynamic. I do agree that 180 is a VERY tall order in a car shaped like a brick, but I will not doubt 160 for minute. To go one step further speedometers are very inacurate at high speeds, but again with the power stated there is no doubt the car hauls ass!

That 359 number was back when it had an M10 in it, he has quite a bit more at this point.

more....fuck me! that has got to be one scary car. I would love to see a build sheet on what else is done to the car safety wise. Brakes, Suspension, aero...what motor is in the car now?

                          I wouldn't use a speedo to gauge 180mph

                          Maybe 7000rpm * 60 minutes/hr / 3.73 / .81 * (15 + 2*.60*235/25.4) * 3.14 / 12 / 5280 = 179.82mph is sufficient?

Motor is an M30B34 and turbo is a Holset HX40 if memory serves me correctly, I think he put down about 500whp?

Safety? I think there's a reason he doesn't run at sanctioned tracks.
