    Lol, failed pretty hard.

So a few weeks ago, I found myself a perfect pair of ZKW ellipsoid late model fogs for my non-fog car. I grabbed them, along with a switch for my dash, and head home. I mounted the fogs, and *thought* I had connected the driver side fog, but couldn't find the passenger side harness. So, I sorta gave up. And I looked for the connector for the switch as well, but couldn't find it, under my dashboard. So, a week later I go back to PNP, this time to cut a bit of harness out of a junker to rig my own setup to my lowbeams. While there, I met a nice & helpful guy there from Norcal-E30's with his dad/or relatives and they were scavenging a parts car. I told him what I was doing, and he told me that I missed the switch. Silly me, I had listened To TrackJunkie's help, who said I need to remove my ENTIRE dash, which scared me away from the idea. This knowledgeable dude at the yard told me exactly where there connection was hidden, and I went to the lot, found it under my SRS unit. :finger: Now, I also found the white harness connector for my passenger fog. I simultaneously realized that the "harness" that I had found ziptied to my brake duct was actually my temp. sensor, which I had thrown the 'cap' for away, somewhere in my house. . So I finally got all the shit connected, have nice & working fogs, however my OBC's temperature is locked on 50 Degrees Celsius. FML.

Non-fog 318i here too. I'll need to find the harness for my fogs, as soon as I find a nice pair of fogs. Gonna do a full write-up?

Your car has it too. The connectors are right behind the headlights, zip-tied to the body. They are white, cut the the ties, and slide them through the hole, down the area where fogs go. Then undo the bottom of your dash, the foam block, the metal piece, and remove your SRS control unit (if you have a bag). You'll fin the black connector tucked right behind where your headlight knob is, reach up, grab it.
Then, grab your switch, which I got free at PNP, connect the two. Remove the plastic blank where the switch button goes, to the left of your light adjuster. Pop it in there, and put everything back the way it was.
Now, go back to your bay. Add fuses 29 & 30 to the fuse box, use 7.5 amp fuses. Now you have fog lights!

yeah man, thanks. She's 75% back together, needs a new bumper, bosch fog, rim, and I need to pull the frame out a tiny bit. I replaced the steering rack, tie rod, and strut arm. It drives now, but pull significantly to the left . It's parked till schools out, and I can start work again. Next week!
