they are actually a little more than 230hp from factory...they underrated it for insurance purposes. i got my ass handed to me by a neon at infineon raceway doin 1/4 mile...he ran like a 13.7 to my 15.8...but my car is stock so :roll:

I havent runned a Gti or a GL but I did take a R32, in all fairness though I think the AWD weighs them down a bit. Word is the Gti is the better car now.
