I wouldn't say "lover" just yet. I was really disappointed with Seasons 2. Hopefully, Season 3 totally redeems it.

Now The Shield, that's a show!

Never watched the Shield. I know people love it, but I'm really not big on cop shows, no matter how good it is, there's no appeal there at all for me. Season 2, I agree wasn't on par with season 1, but I'm hoping season 3 will make up for it (if you saw the last episode of season 2, it kinda sets season 3 to open with a bang).

Sons is a fairly good show. I think the level of acting is below the level of writing. Most of them are sup-par actors.

Prolly in a few months, I don't remember exactly when-ish. I bought season 1 as soon as it came out, was watching some of it tonight, hence thread. Waiting for season 2 (FX isn't the greatest about announcing the start of a new season till like a month in advance, max. They're even worse about releasing a date for the DVDs).

EDIT: Just checked for a DVD release for season 2 (checked like a week ago with no announced time). Looks like August 31st it'll be available, or around there. I'd assume the season 3 premier to launch a few weeks after that, give people time to buy the DVD and get caught up before airing the new season

Season 3 is supposed to be in September. I love this show. This and "Breaking bad" are tied in my book.

I love the Sons. I just watched all of the first season and most of the second when a friend introduced it to me.
