I've got an older Samsung DLP I purchased back in Oct '06, as I'm sitting here I just watched it dim down a couple of notches, so I'm assuming it will need to be replaced soon.
I'd rather have the bulb on hand and possibly even change it early then wait for it to fail.
Should I also go ahead and replace the color wheel while I'm in there? I've read stories of the DLPs in this age lunching the color wheels and actually happened to one of the guys at work the other day as well.
bp96-01472a (p132W) is the bulb code for my TV.
