shits going down in oakland
well, if some of you haven't heard, the verdict of Johannes Messerle came out earlier this afternoon, involuntary manslaughter. I work in Oakland, and it took me an hour to get home, and I live ~10 miles from my work. There is chaos in the streets. I saw some black panthers driving next to me, in a black e28. There were a lot of protesters by my car as well, a lot of well educated speakers as well. However, there are also a lot places in Oakland where there is peace. I just got home, and am watching the news. I don't agree with the violence/rioting which is going down, but I think both sides should be heard.
