Yes he deserved to be on the ground in cuffs, yes he deserved to be incarcerated, maybe he deserved to be shot. Is it right that the cop gets away with being the judge, jury, and executioner? Bad judgements are handed down on a daily basis. Part of the process, it sux, but that happens in our society.
The riots are despicable. The rioters are despicable as well. Sheer oppurtunists, they could give two shits about that kid. How is breaking some shit or a free pair of shoes going to put that kid's family at peace? How does that support the travisty that was the sentencing? It doesn't. it just shows that mostly people are good as individuals, until the point a mob is formed, then they don't care.
