Lebron James?

I'm anxious to see how good Miami will be. Theoretically they should win 65 games right off the bat, but I don't see that happening. Lots of ego on one team and personally, I think LeBron James may be the most over-hyped player in the history of any sport. He's won zero championships, even with a couple pretty good surrounding casts, hasn't improved much in the 6 years he's been in the league, and somewhere along the line became "The King". I believe Wade will outplay him on this team. -
Hahaha, this.
I think he would have went to the bulls if he had the balls. They would have had a team that is just as good, if not better than the heat. But he clearly would rather be Wade's Pippen. Oh well, I guess hoping that he would rather show his competitiveness by playing against Wade is too much to ask. He would rather join him and win as Wade's #2. Coward.Leave a comment:

Pardon me for not wanting to cheer for laundry, but these guys are still highly competitive athletes with huge egos. Don't you think they still want to feel like they accomplished something alone, rather than starting Contra with UUDDLRLR BA Start?Leave a comment:

Oh I'm sorry, are you going to go cry yourself to sleep on your huge fucking waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles pillow because a member of your favorite [sport] [sport team] isn't putting a ball through a metal circle on your favorite team anymore?
Get bent, fag. This is ridiculous. Sports is stupid and caring about where your favorite sports player is is equally stupid.
This would be like me crying and ranting everytime a corporate CEO changed jobs. Utterly stupid.Leave a comment:

Just because ESPN wants you to think that we're all sobbing in a corner, doesn't mean it's true. They showed one asshat burning a jersey and now that's the image that the rest of the world has stuck in their mind. Most real fans already knew it and accepted it. It's kind of a burden off our backs now. His giant ego was really starting to piss people off lately. Anyone that gets a giant tattoo on their chest that says "The Chosen One", needs a reality check. It was fun while it lasted and I have some great memories from those 7 years, but it's time to start a new era.
I'm actually kind of excited to see what the Cavs will do next. The landscape of the NBA will drastically change in 2-3 years. Lakers will most likely win it again this year, then fade out. Celtics will be done by then as well. Dwight Howard will probably leave Orlando. The entire west is falling apart and/or aging rapidly as we speak with the exception of Denver and Portland. Miami will be the only real monster to deal with IF they are able to fill the rest of the roster with some decent talent. Chicago is still missing that one great player to make them a contender.Leave a comment:

This dude is the reason why Cleveland never had a shot. They thought they did, but when it came down to the clutch shots, he fuckin blew it. Now that hes gone, they for real have no opportunity at a championship. All this crap about moving for a better opportunity is a joke. The dude had the media's attention for a whole week, not an hour, to say 5 seconds worth of shit. It was merely a ploy to garner the "respect" of people so they will honor him like they honor MJ or Kobe. Hes gonna make the same bunk shots in the 4th quarter in the playoffs. What?
You guys get over your fanboi-ism of sports and look at it like this.
What's wrong with changing jobs for a better opportunity? Whether it's pay/benefits/advancement opportunities (in this case better shot at a Championship)
I may actually watch the NBA next year again, just so I can see how well these three play together.
Im a Magic fan anyways so none of this fan boy shit you speak of applies to me. Im for sure not a fuckin Memphis fan. Fuck Memphis.Leave a comment:

not a basketball fan or a sports fan anymore really, but i appreciate a good close playoff game once in a while.
Everyone's all excited Miami has lebron, but im not sure thats such a good thing for the ego's of the guys who've been there. If they win, theyll give all the credit to lebron making everyone else bitter. Theyre expected to win, if they dont theyll flame his ass out of here.Leave a comment:

Lebron is no MJ. As a player or person in my mind. Comparing the two is a fallacy. I know he's without question one of the best in the NBA but the way officials give big stars free passes especially Lebron irks me. I understand the whole press thing is business and hype building but come the fuck on man, you're just annoying now.
Yeah as a Suns fan I hate Kobe and the Lakers but there is no question he's a great player and officials don't give him as many free passes as Lebron. And even Kobe doesn't measure up to MJ obviously. Sport commentators overuse the comparison way too much IMO. But hey, my Suns honestly had the skill to win it last year and I think were the only team to have the possibility to beat the Lakers but in usual Suns fashion things fell apart when it counted the most.Leave a comment:

Lebron is such a faker dude. He just Yankee'd basketball in one swift move. At least I can start hating the Heat and liking the Lakers now and not get killed in my town. Lebron and the Heat make Kobe and the Lakers look like fair and square good dudes.Leave a comment:
