I burned myself out on that. Drank nothing but Bud Light and Smirnoff in college. My buddy and I would watch Fight Club and take shots of Vodka every time something happened in the movie (I forget what it was, probably something like every time someone said the words "fight club") and we loved the hell out of that movie, so it was damn near a nightly occurrence.

I don't eat breakfast, I just drink a beer. During school I don't drink after that until lunchtime when I drink 2 beers with my lunch. After my classes I go home and I start the evening with another beer, and I usually drink 2 or 3 while doing homework.

Now there is no school so after the morning beer I don't stop until dawn next day. It's been this way every summer for the past 9 years, and I like it.
Good thing I spend my summers in a country where everybody drinks, you are allowed to drink and be drunk on the streets, and all your friends have the same kind of schedule.
In the States this wouldn't work, people would look at me like I'm an alcoholic or something.

I know what the event is, but I have no idea why anyone would wake up at 4 am just to drink.

you have to drink/eat/stop by some friends houses/catch the caltrain. Taking the santa clara 6am caltrain is the most ridiculous experience ever by the way. walking across campus at like 5:30 you can see hundreds of people doing the same thing you are. Caltrain sets aside a train just to go from santa clara to b2b. The train ride is like super packed party where you cant move there are so many people, and people still get left behind because there is not enough room on the train. Handles and beers are everywhere

Of course, only on non-work days. I think the fiancee and I polished off a half-gallon on the 4th of July. Of course that was a marathon session.

I've been enjoying some ice cold Deschutes Inversion IPA all day.

It was just named Silver Medalist in the US Beer Open in the American IPA category.

Once day, I will tour their brewery!
