Thanks once again Mrsleeve. He did ask why I was sweating but I didn't answer since I did have running gear on. Ok I understand the 5th amendment but if a cop wants to be a dick can't he just detain you even though he had no reasonable cause? They say attitude can be interpreted as assault. Is this true?

4th amendment Search and Seizure. In your case you pulled for, the hangy ball thingy. Thats the infraction. Now the cop can out right lie to you, and do what every he can to trick you into saying or admitting to doing something else. The fact that your all sticky from a run is not probable cause for you doing illegal (unless it has become illegal to sweat in CA now because of some environmental protection law). Yes your tude can be used against you, be polite, respectful, but dont let them walk all over you either.
Why when stopped for speeding they ask if you knew how fast your going. DONT FUCKING ANSWER THAT ITS A TRAP, ass soon as you say 56 (in a 55) you have admitted to breaking the law and then you are at the officers whim. If they have no other probable cause, that there is wrong doing then there is not shit they can do but give you the citation and let you on your way.
DONT TALK TO COPS, end of story. watch all 3 links I gave you, discuss the topics with law professor and he will tell you the same thing.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

I was out jogging at 4am today, and the first major street I was running on some cop pulled over quick and told me to put my hands on the wall and searched me. I only had an ipod and car keys, had to tell him my name and information and after about 15 minutes let me go.
I never had a bad experience with a cop until today, but there's really nothing you can do. Some freedom huh?WTT: 1989 325i w/ many mods for stock e28. Pm me if interested.

i was pulled over and handcuffed on the curb @ 3AM and detained for 1hr 45 min by SCOTTSDALE PD once. he never gave a reason and when i started making a big deal out of it the guy at the Texico called the police and a supervisor showed up, i bitched to the supervisor, they talked and the cop told me that my DL was suspened (it wasn't), but he was going to let me go. at the time i was driving my Jetta (which i had spent about $20k to build) it was fast and loud. i used to get pulled alot because they figured a kid with no insurance/licence/etc must own it.
so tuesday morning (3 day weekend, tuesday was the first day DMV was open) i called the SPD and inquired about my licence being suspened "no sir, nothing there". next DMV "no sir, everything is fine". next the SPD again same answer. i asked to speak to the watch commander and went down and filed a complaint figuring that would just be the end of it.
within 2 days, that same cop was parked infront of my gym at the same time i went EVERY NIGHT and left when i did. this went on for a little over a month. at that point i just let it go. not too long after that, i never saw him again.
unless your cop is continually harassing you, just let it go, if he works where you live, you will see him again and if your reporting him got him into shit, he will pass it on to you.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

^^ That was I was thinking last night Since I do run around this area a lot and cops are always down that main road before I hit the mountains. He they do give him shit I'm pretty sure I'll get shit from him. Spoke to my Law teacher(in school now) he said he knows a few people at a higher rank in the station and would talk to them directly. It's good to know someone at times.

No, I meant the education requirements for police officers.
Although Tusa never really recovered from the '81 recession when a bunch of oil headquarters moved their main offices form Tulsa to Houston. I think now almost 30 years later the population of Tulsa "proper" is still down like 50,000.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

I know my particular Metropolitan area has some of the toughest requirements for Police Officers in the country. Including a 4 yr college degree.
Well that is good to hear. I hate the south.

cops do whatever they want. im sure they get so many complaints that one more pissed off guy isnt going to change anything. my friend has been pulled over 29 times by the same cop, just because the cop wants to catch him with something. 29 TIMES. i fuck you not. my friend has filed seven complaints, nothing has changed.
