 I was gonna say the same thing. I was pleasently surprised by it's abilities, and 700+ lb/ft is nice for coming out of corners :giggle:

Jordan, I bought the Chapparel earlier today, it's a lot of fun and fast as hell. I havn't modded it yet but I hope the full-adjust transmission is available....I think it is hindered by only having 3 forward gears.

I forgot about the street MBZ Evo. I love that car. Closest thing to a e30 M3 in the game I think. The license test with it around Nurburgring was a blast (except for the damn pace car getting in the way).

I think you're set with the 3 forward gears. That being said, mod the motor and you will have no problems, it'll do 270 down the mulsanne.

                :?

You sure about that? I think you may be confusing the Nurbergring and Le Mans. The straight at Le Man is the Mulsanne straight, I dunno what it's called at the 'ring. And I know the Chaparrals couldn't do 270 in 1970.

The Minolta Toyota is definitely a blast.

I love my black RS4 touring, 650ish hp, 250+ mph, handles beautifully.

On another note, what are you guys doing for suspension settings? Obviously every car is different, but where do you start to get rid of that pesky understeer?

Also I think it's really funny that the Chaparrals ran automatics back in the day. Mostly because I wouldn't expect an auto to handle the pressures of 12-24 hour endurance races.

I'm talking about the mulsanne. Aka the circuit de la sarthe, aka lemans. Both of which you can run in GT4, chicane and no chicane version.

Stage 4 turbo and an oil change bumps the power from 650hp to 1150hp. With the right gearing 270 can be had.. mine is geared for "low speeds" tho. 210mph max speed.

I hate the Le Mans track especially w/o the chicanes. The straight is soooo boring. Worst license test in the game, IA16, I have to smoke a cig while the car goes down the un-chicaned straight and thats at 233-235mph in the Nissan R92CP Race Car. Got gold on it and I hope to never see it ever again.

r92c on the mulsanne straight, or the 350z lm at sears. both super fun.
