    Networkers chime in...

    Who is using this kind:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-326-_-Product

I am sick of running three laptops and getting hang ups. I have to reset the stupid low performance netgear router every other day. It does not suck, just made for low amount of wireless use.

I am a diehard for netgear but if someone is using something awesome and is happy with the performance let me know(link it)

I also run two 360s for XBL(xbox live) But they are through a gigabit switch.

I am sorry people in Norway have no use for networking. Funny video though.

P.S. this is off topic...so it's fine to post stuff along the lines as networking and funny videos. But you will learn that in time as you spend more time in forums.

Dette er en offentlig forum, har en god dag. (as close as I could get with my english to Norwegian dictionary)

          Nothing to be sorry about.
We're just more into plundering and raping over here.

You know, Endre happens to know a few things.
And one of the things Endre knows is: It's not how you put your topics in the right forum...

...it's how interesting the topics are. You better learn that.

That's news to me. I put my wireless bridged WRT setup a couple years ago and proceeded to forget about it, which is exactly what a router is supposed to be: forgettable. I will have to give the Asus a try some day.

That is a great router, I will give it some specs compares. I think the other one might be faster. but both come with the USB port so I can get an external hard drive and back everything up from there.

I also like that one is cheaper.

Same setup I'm using currently. Runs flawlessly for me.

All SOHO wireless routers suck ass. Buy a WAP and toss IPTABLES or IPCOP on an old computer and be done with it.

I've never had a SOHO router work properly with multiple people hammering away.

Or if you don't require N, find a cisco aironet G WAP, those things are tanks

I run pfSense on an old Celeron box and I have a 3COM WAP that I got for $5. You can't beat that on price.
