I cant believe what a dumbass you are. youre able to type your drivel because of the armed forces and all they do.What a giant waste of taxpayers money. Its like when the F15's fly around my house just burning up fuel we pay for just so they can do exercises for all the dog fighting we are engaged in here. Everyday. I guess you can justify it any way you want. Im not anti the service. Any branch. It just seems they love blowing money.Comment

You're right because if I was in Japan I could not type a reply like this. Or if I was in Sweden or Germany or Russia or South Korea or Thailand I couldn't either. Nor if I was in Brazil or Mexico or Argentina. Right. Again you prove your an old fucking retard.
If you read my post I said I wasn't anti any part of the military. I have some family that are long timers and on pension from the Navy. My sister in law is an air force reserve. M-technik is a cool ass guy and he's a load master. All I want to know is why do we spend so much money on practice exercises?Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|Comment

bsaint. do you suggest we put all our ships in drydock and hope and pray that when it is time to use them that someone remembers how everything works? Are you better at your job than the guy that started yesterday? I think you get my point, we are a super power because we practice harder, practice longer, with the best equipment money can buy!Brian JacobsComment

b*saint: "With RIMPAC The United States Pacific Command seeks to enhance interoperability between Pacific Rim armed forces, as a means of promoting stability in the region to the benefit of all participating nations. The exercises are viewed as key to military readiness, as Pacific Rim nations face several "hot spots" of potential armed conflict"
That's too bad you think all the training is a waste of money, etc. how do you think we feel having to go "train" for months on end away from home and families. Regardless I'd appreciate it if you would take your opinion's away from this thread unless they have to do with the photographs I posted. Thanks.
everyone else thanks for the comments, hearing all the positive comments make all the work that we put into RIMPAC worth it! There were some long days and a lack of sleep but hearing positive feedback makes it worth it in the end!"Modern cars, they all look like electric shavers."

I've seen pics of e30's rolling through africa with at least 15-20 africans on them with ak-47's. WILD. its in the african blood. Hope this wasn't too racist, forgive me as I am intoxicated.Comment

like already stated we do it to be ready when the time comes. Its like in your career, if you didnt go to Mc Donalds University and train youd never know what order to put the patty, pickle and condiments when the lunch rush was upon you. Training makes us greatYou're right because if I was in Japan I could not type a reply like this. Or if I was in Sweden or Germany or Russia or South Korea or Thailand I couldn't either. Bsaint, you really have no idea of why the US is afforded innumerable 'extraordinary privileges' since world war two? I'll give you a hint: the reason why your lifestyle (and your country by the by) exist is precisely *because* of its military. It may very well not be a sufficient condition (we could argue that, but it's beyond the scope of this thread) but it very well is necessary. So this 'waste of money' as you call it is the best dollar policy that has ever existed since before 1776 - one could argue, the only one, but again, that's past this thread.
And by the by, incidentally, the people in Japan, Germany, France, Italy etc enjoy the present political conditions in very large part for exactly the same reason. So in a way (a very real one) they can enjoy their lifestyle precisely because the US military is out and about with its displays of force - not out of the goodness of its heart, but because it is in the US' interest to keep things that way. This does not mean that I approve of your country's foreign policy necessarily, but it is how the world works.Comment
