    Shit..Sorry about that guys....

Sorry about the outage everyone, I wish I had a long detailed report on exactly why the site went down, however I'll cut to the chase.

    Firewall powercord came unplugged.

I'm embarrased to say the least. I was on vacation all of last week, and at the track this last weekend as I help crew with Pro3..needless to say after I went to bed last night, another tech who works on a different website (we share some rackspace together) yanked one of his servers after he ran into a software problem)...when the server was being pulled it yanked the powercord that goes into my firewall (its redundant power, but only takes one cord...yeah annoying).

When I found out this morning that r3v was down, I was already on the way to work (which is 50 miles away from the datacenter) and simply had no time to stop by and fix the issue.

Once I got here, I did a quick glance, noticed the problem, and plugged it back in.

Once again I'm sorry for the additional productivity everyone gained today. Consider August 2nd the official everyone get to work and not browse R3V Day =/

On the bright side, nothing crashed (as designed)

I owe most of you a beer, come get it at next years picnic!
