I insisted on the IV but didn't have any nausea at all. In fact it was an awesome experience all around. I got a tooth filled 2 days later by my normal dentist and when I told him I had had my wisdom teeth out a couple days earlier he said I healed like Wolverine.

Im either a total wimp or mine were really fucked. I got knocked out with IV sedation and i was in fucking pain for days. I know some people that go back to work same day. I dont understand it. I didnt take any pain meds though

i got 2 of mine pulled. and it never hurt. i guess i got lucky. after the first hour of getting them pulled i could eat whatever i want. just try not to get food stuck in the hole.

i had all 4 pulled at once, all 4 were impacted. i woke up in the middle of them pulling one. worst pain i have ever felt. quickly knocked back out though. just try to keep your cool with it. i ended up breaking the arm straps because they wouldnt take them off. thats a whole nother story. just make sure you have a full stomach when you take vicodin (if thats what they give you). i had them on an empty stomach and puked for an hour.

Yeah all of mine were impacted as well. My mouth was swollen so much that I couldn't touch my teeth together for like 3 days. It sucked ass. It just depends how out of alignment they are and how they have to rip them out. I got a ton of dark bruising too all over my cheeks and neck.

my face didn't swell at all. but i couldnt open my mouth more than a 1/4 inch for a week and a half then for another week i couldn't open it more than half inch. i seriously ate probably 2-3 times in a week. i had no desire to eat and basically couldn't. the pain was so bad i wanted to just slam my head against a wall til i knocked myself out. i had to sleep with a towel on my pillow because it was constantly bleeding. every morning id wake up with a towel full of blood. would take me hours to fall asleep. then i could only sleep for 5 hours max. worst experience of my life.

Ha suckas, I got 3 of my 4 pulled and IV sedated. I woke up fucked up, but felt like a million bucks, wasn't sick at all. I barely had any pain, but the vicodin was a nice treat. I just remember coming to during the operation and kept telling them it hurt really bad, but it didn't. I also tried to carry on conversations and they got mad at me and kept telling me to stop talking.

ramen noodles and grilled cheese. scrambled eggs is also really good, but without bacon its pretty unsatisfying as we all know. just make sure to put shit in your stomach before you take the medication. i took one dose of the percocet and used advil after.

Back to the op I got all 4 out and by day two and three i was eating Mac and Cheese like it wasn't anybodies business. I don't remember too much of day one except bleeding a lot.
