all hand tools have lifetime warranty @ HF and a fraction of the price compared to snap on, mac or even craftsman!

But i usally get things like zip ties, heat shrink and nirtile/latex gloves from there, you just cant beat those prices (2 dollars for 100 zip ties, come on!)

for sockets, wrenchs i have my craftsmen tool set which i also got on sale haha

I love my snap on impacts and other assorted tools. But the price of Craftsman to Snap on it nuts. You get three for 10 less than one. Plus the CM is still replaced if you manage to break them. I just broke my 3/8 today and my 1/4 last weekend. I now have two shiny replacements in my box.

This is how I buy tools; if I am going to be using it a lot then I buy the best ones. No sense replacing them over the course of your life just to end up buying the right one in the end.

But to some of the guys on here that just tune up and replace worn parts HF is AWESOME. They will use the tools only when the parts need replacement. Unlike guys like me that use these tools everyday for their jobs and builds.

Its not about HF hand tools being warrantied for life. Its about qualilty of product and the fact you're supporting the chinese government yet you bitch about the lack of jobs here. I'd rather have a tool I spent a lot for tools that don't have a warranty and wont break than a piece of shit tool that I can exchange a thousand times, yet breaks a lot.

while that sounds good in theory, does your wallet agree? does your mortgage/bills/wallet all agree with that? lol.

i'd buy the good shit all the time if i could, but between sears and HF, i like to think i do pretty good, lol.

my friend is a snap on whore, i just don't get it, but whatever. lol.

FYI snap on manufactures almost all of its tools overseas too.

My harbor freight breaker bar is probably my favorite tool, aside from e30 f34r. Use it all the time, keep it in the trunk

Where did I mention Snapon in that statement? In fact I mentioned tools that don't have warranties which snappy doesnt fall under.
