    Passed MSF Class

Just took and passed the Motorcycle safety foundation class this weekend, so I am officially a licensed rider. Now its time to buy a bike and get to riding more consistently.

I am thinking of getting the redesigned Ninja 250r or Hyosung GT250r to learn as much as I can in the next few years. The only issue being I am 6 foot 5 inches tall but only 200 lbs. I need to try them to see if I can fit comfortably.

    No applause necessary.

You would look pretty ridiculous on a ninja 250.

The Hyosung is built on a 650 frame, I might be able to pull that off.

I dont know how well a person your size would fit on any sport bike.

Suzuki bandit, they are more upright and less sporty but taller.

I have actually riden my soon-to-be brother in-laws GT250r and I think if the pegs were moved to their lowest setting I could swing it. But I will take any suggestions people have. I am planning on going to a local motorsport shop and sitting on a few to see whats comfortable. For the class I was on a Nighthawk 250. That thing has crazy amounts of vibration.

Yeah dual sports are nice, but I literally have no place around me to take it off road.

If you want to be off road buy a dirt bike, my fiend had a dual sport that he took off road and he bent the frame doing farm riding. They are possibly the tallest thing you may find, but are very easy for beginers to learn on. Great for around town but they are geared for high torque so if alot of highway or constant 70+mph driving is done I would not recomend it.

Great looking bike, but I am looking for something a little cheaper and something not too hard hitting on insurance.

This is probably my first choice. The hyosung, seat height on the 2010's almost 33 inches, thats pretty tall for a sport bike.
