Pause to think...

Watching that video, regardless of what is staged or not staged was pretty sobering...

Makes you think twice about taking a call on the cell, or whipping off a quick text while you're driving...

Can you even imagine how you'd feel if you were just driving down a highway, and a someone still alive but badly injured that survived their initial impact and was thrown from their car is suddenly in front, then under your car while you're going the other way at 60 mph....

ug. Having a wife and a 14 m little girl that is often in a stroller as shown makes this a bit tough to swallow....

I think the scary thing is that we might all think we're immune to CAUSING a collision like those shown because maybe we don't dodge in and out to overtake or pass...but really, lack of attention to where we're going and distractions like cell/text could probably result in similar situations...

I've gotten caught with some near-hits (its not a near miss...see George Carlin U-tube if you don't hit anything, its a near hit) while towing, and not keeping enough gap with a heavy rig....

This SHOULD be mandatory for drivers Ed in the US...
