If it was your first time this happend you can tell them you didnt have enough money to pay the toll. Most of them have envelopes at the booth for you to take and send in your payment.
I got busted doing this in NJ and said the same thing. Got away with just having to payt the 75 cents for the toll. :)Comment

I just looked at your location and there is NO good way to get round that shit hole city, other than the sky way, dan ryan, and the Kennedy/edens expressway. I feel really sorry for you on that trip UGGGGHHHHHH even at 2-3am it can be shitty as fuck going though there. I went on the lake express twice, with my dad a few years ago, on our trip out to WA. the first time on the WI, the ferry was delayed and left at 11:30PM. standing on the top deck in the middle of the lake, and seeing blackness in every direction was cool. on the way back to MI, it was an early morning departure, so i sleep through most of that trip.the ferry is alright, however they have a snack bar that is expensive, and show a movie, which you can watch, but have to pay to use headphones to hear sound. they try to get $ from you where ever possible. but it is way better than going round the bottom of the lake past Chicago.Comment
