Its one of the few sensible sport utility vehicles on the market. That being said, I'd drive one if I needed something that size to tool around town in. Its also a nice looking car.
not to be racist but i've had multiple african americans comment on how they love my car. I've seen pics of e30's rolling through africa with at least 15-20 africans on them with ak-47's. WILD. its in the african blood. Hope this wasn't too racist, forgive me as I am intoxicated.
However, in your absence, I will likely sit in your seat buck naked while making racecar noises as if I were maxing your E30 out on the Mulsanne Straight while allowing the perforated vinyl to soak up my butt sweat (going 200 mph does that to you).
Why do you think they call them LESBARUS?.... Actually my 80 year old mom has one, and she had 6 kids.. definitely not a lesbian, and my sister in law has one, definitely not a lesbo..... Just watch out for rear seals and head gaskets... they are know for those...
Multiple people have told me that Subaru's are for lesbians but who the fuck cares? I would drive a pink 911 Turbo with Hello Kitty decals on the side because it's a fucking 911 Turbo!
Lesbian trapped in a man's body, then. I recently took over my mom's '01 Forester S that she owned since new. Fully loaded, premium package, 94k on the clock and super clean. Autotragic is the only downside. So nice to have it around; I've already used it to haul drywall, mulch, crushed stone/stonedust, a few decent sized shrubs, bunch of flea market finds, etc.
Planning on getting a hitch and a 4'x6' utility trailer around for hauling stuff to the dump, towing my bike, whatever. Really easy to work on, and I gotta say the thing handles pretty decent for what it is. Although 2.5 N/A + autotragic = soo slooww.
I had sworn off Subaru after my wife's '02 WRX, but I'm loving this Forester so far.

I don't know if they're lesbians, but it does seem like a large percentage of Forester drivers in the PNW are females with flat tops.
Another matter that might prove to be a more legitimate deterrent: I could swear one of my co-workers was saying something about leaky head gaskets and about having to partially pull the engine from his stepdaughter's Forester in order to install new spark plugs.
