Official Labor Day wkend grillin' thread....post your pics!

Yeah, it's a bit early, but the weather was right (mid 80s, low humidity, nice breeze all day long) and college football seaosn is upon us..."ARE YOU READY? HELL YEAH! DAMN RIGHT! HOTTY TODDY GOSH'A'MIGHTY WHO IN THE HELL ARE WE? HEY! FLIM FLAM BIM BAM OLE MISS BY DAMN!!

So I made a run to Kroger (best meat dept ever!) for 7.5lbs of beef tenderloin, portabella shrooms, and some beer brats and another run to George's Discount Beer (they have the hugest selection of imports and quality beers!) for some Sam Adams Octoberfest for my marinade base and of course, libation.

The rest is told best with some pics:

My best friend and one of my ugly mug:

lol, it's a Strider TAD SLCC and I oringinally started this set to share with the Strider guys on the USN, but it was such a good set and I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd share it with you guys here at r3v as well and get the Labor Day grillin thread started. Oh, and it's my daily wear (neck knife) and it did all the work today.

                      Nice grillin' pics!

No grillin' for us this weekend. Going out for Sushi tonight, then tomorrow we are going to the Hard Rock to lay by the pool and get hammered all day.

We did grill some chicken and corn on the cob last night, but no pix.

This was yesterday's BBQ, Rosemary, Worcestershire and black pepper bone in pork chops, and garlic salt and pepper asparagus.

Fridge is loaded with bacon-wrapped filets, 100% beef franks (for the girls,) asparagus and fresh green beans for the grill and mushrooms for the steak. Have a case of Dos Equis and a multi-pack of Mike's Hard in various flavors in the fridge in the garage. Should be a good weekend.

edit: forgot it's a picture thread.

I wasn't aware Strider made neck knives. What do the sheathing options look like? Kydex or other?
