I'm aware that Nebraska's not the most loved team around, but this thread will be oriented toward the Husker fans on r3v.
Post away, they're playing today!

Not a big fan of the pros anyway, Nebraska opener is what I wait for. Should be a good season, can't wait to see how they finish... Living 10 minutes from CU also makes for an interesting rivalry game

It's too bad this will last for only one more season, with Nebraska moving to the Big 10 in 2011. Going to the CU game when it was in Lincoln was always the quintessential Nebraska Football experience for me. Having said that, I think Penn State and Iowa have a decent chance at filling the gap left by Colorado (and to a lesser extent in recent years, Missouri/Oklahoma, depending on who we happened to be playing, and if they were any good).
Go big red indeed! The CU Nebraska game, in Lincoln, is utterly amazing.... I've been 3 times before, and I'm looking for tickets now for this last game, will probably be buying within the week... Endzone seats for ~$100... It's not bad all things considered..

Jk. Nebraska fans are probably some of the best I've ever encountered. So if you don't mind me asking, what's your affiliation with Nebraska? Btw a whole thread on just one team? There should just be a general NCAA football thread.
Danny changed the thread to general college ball, but I did a simple Search and proved there were two threads in existence, so he deleted the posts and changed the name back to what I had started. With r3v being r3v, this thread is hardly stupid compared to half the threads in OT. As for my affiliation, my dads dad graduated from there and my moms side of the family is from NE. I was born and raised in Boulder, but I've grown up a Husker.

I wasn't doubting you. I only ask bc some fans. Let say. University of Miami fans typically have never seen a game, have any relation to the school, or have even stepped foot on Florida. Nebraska football has a rich history and their fan base actually makes sense vs UM.
I do remember seeing a college thread but they were made very early in the year so the interest wasn't as high as it would be now.
Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I'm heavily rooted in Nebraska and I'm heavily considering transferring out there to get my bachelors.... The downsides being no snowboarding, and the humidity...
