EDIT: As of Last night, Tues Nov 9, my Paypal Acct had been restored. A huge thanks to all my customers who took the time to Email Paypal, Some of you more than once, to make them aware that I am not a dead-beat seller.

I have amassed some parts in the meantime and will list some of it this weekend.

I charged the shipping for some wheels to DHL here in Germany, and they've all but cutoff my PP acct. As i'm sure many of you have gone through, you have to provide all but a DNA sample to prove that you're you. What makes it harder is that i'm here in Germany, and can't even call a 1-800-number to talk with them. So I have to wait till they get back to me.

And my Wife is standing behind me while i'm uploading more personal info than I care to ever send on the internet and she says, "Just email them and explain." I wish I could get Joe Schmoe on the phone and have it be that easy.

It does suck that there is no one to talk with at PP. I had am issue with a transaction a while back but through email, i got it worked out. It didnt take long either...thank goodness. GL.

you can get someone on the phone, you have to get an authorizing number from the site first. You can find that in contact us in small print. Follow the steps then it will give you an 800 number. You use the code and wait in line. Their CS sucks big time!

Edit, did not know you could not call 800 number across seas. Is there a way you can call via a VOIP line?

Skype the 1800 number it's not so bad. 2 cents a minute to a phone vs a computer!!

what this guy said. i had someone hack my email account and buy a 2000 laptop using my paypal acct. i did get someone on the phone and i had my money back in 6 hours. you need the code they give and then look for the contact us in small print.

PayPal cut off my instant payment and when i asked why they said "we have no part in it, our security program said your account was not safe"...lol. I can't stand PayPal anymore.

EDIT: it's been 3 weeks, i still can't use my paypal instant payment.

I don't think it matters now. Paypal watchdogware already shut my acct down, can't buy stuff/transfer to bank acct/close acct.

Oh well, if worse comes to worse and it drags out. I'll tell them to close my acct and transfer everything to the Approved bank acct I started the Paypal with.....then it's back to Bank Transfers only.

Seeing as how it's linked to my bank account in the US w/ a NY address, when I charged the $220/168euro on the DHL.de website in Germany, there Watchdogware as I call it, apparently caught it as 'suspicious activity' .

Anything over 20kg/44lbs, has to be booked and paid online, you have to print the labels, then drop it at the post office. Last time I paid with my german CC, this time I decided to try it with Paypal....first and last time.
