Love the R nineT..
had some time off this week and used most of it getting the boat ready for summer and working on my bike (1977 KZ400).
did the oil/filter/airfilter, new tach cable, lubed everything, valve adjustment, fork oil, new ignition, checked the wiring, finally sourced carb boots on eBay and custom made some airbox boots to replace the old ones, spark plugs, new chain, etc.
Today got it all together, went for a ride... shit, shes still a dog. I mean it's a 40 year old 400cc bike but barely hitting 70 to keep up with traffic.. if it didn't have some sentimental value (got it when I was 15) I'd trade it in..
Went back, disassembled and cleaned the carbs, found both main jets gummed up, put it back together, what a difference! so much better.. feels good for an old bike and pulls strong all the way to 9k.

Sadly only have access to my instagram shots from a few weeks back. Would. So. Hard. Sadly out of my price range right now.

they are straight up bad ass bikes, they have that four stroke dirt bike sound to them almost, very throaty, very tractor like, but very smooth and flickable. I rode my buddies last year at the distinguished gentlemen's ride, I would have taken my Repsol, but the rules were older/retro/new classic style bikes, although there were guys on sport bikes there, so maybe this year ill say the hell with it and bring the CBR.
Heres the vid from it, such a blast, you can see my goofy mug looking like an Irish pub owner at 0:46 laughing at my even goofier friend with the bow tie, and me at 2:58 ripping on the R-nine-T!
