Oh, I dunno, it was just this little 2" long lizard I spotted on the bluffs above the beach somewhere north of San Simeon, CA when i was driving home from the Monterey Historics last year. I can't believe i got him to hold still - the camera lens was maybe 4" from him...

It is common for them to drag their knees, that is why they have those huge knee protectors. Sometimes they get low enough to drag their elbows, talk about traction.
