Update....
- Flywheel cover has been polished, though still has a couple deep scratches
- Whole engine has been scrubbed (with help from Gunk)
- Cylinder honed slightly, part above where it was sized had some issues
- Stator off, it rusted to oblivion so I salvaged the thousand feet of copper wire off it for moneyzz
- Top end scrubbed and cylinder head slightly ported
- Valve guides smoothed with some lapping compound
I just dropped $95 in parts for a new stator, magneto, points plate, and cover to cover it all. Hmm hope this thing works. All the electrical is jacked up. And the nut holding the magneto onto the crankshaft is all rusted, and you cant torque it all all or the engine will just turn over. So gotta mount the engine up and have a fatboy sit on it so I can torque the sucka.
Video of it running (hopefully) this weekend. Granted if my parts come in before then :)Comment

Well all my dreams never happened. Im getting out of the garage over to my buddy's, and we are going to finish the electrical soon. Maybe even start it today. Hmm. Anyways yeah engine is all put back together. I have a new stator and flywheel. They are both from a ct90, but will work fine. Well not the flywheel... i dont have a flywheel puller for this.
This thing is so beautiful, patina and all. Photoshoot soon with the new D3100Comment

Sounds like your getting some work done!
