something similar happened to me last night. I went to chipoltle to get a chicken burrito with black beens. I got home and it was a beef burrito grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr -
he has a new E class.
get an estimate at a body shop and ask him for the money. he hit it. it is his responsibility. obviously keep things civil.
but he should at least believe in personal responsibility.Leave a comment:

I bet you anything he has insurance but just doesn't want to use it for your rust bucket. Police Report Police Report Police Report Police Report. Get one. Keep it legal and report him and call your insurance company.Leave a comment:

He doesn't believe in responsibility either? Confront the guy on it at least.Leave a comment:

Yeah, keep it civil, try to get him to man up.
But it is unlikely he will if he already hit your car and drove off.Leave a comment:

Something similar happened to me, in fact, my rear bumper is still a little screwed up because of it. I just told the guy to give me like $400 cash, the cost IF I would have fixed it.
Obviously I then went and put the money toward hookers and booze, but you should be compensated regardless of if you fix the car or not.Leave a comment:

So you aren't required to carry insurance in NZ?
I find that crazy.Leave a comment:

Car hit, no insurance
Parked the daily at a friends house, his neighbor backed into me in his brand new e class and he "doesn't believe in insurance" my car is relatively fine, only damage is one corner of the bumper off the mount.
What's the best course of action? Hit him up for a genuine replacement bumper and the cost of painting it? I am not fazed as it's the daily and shit happens, so just fix it myself (at worst probably just a broken bumper mount) or screw him over? Probably best to keep it all civil for my mates sake? They live down a shared driveway.Tags: None
