I think by this point the actual competition might NOT happen due to the connection/server issues. Unless the problems are resolved by next Sunday then I dont see how we can run a full grid for the competition without difficulties that cause delays and aggravation. As much fun as having the competition would be its just gonna be our own little private races whenever people are online. That is still a lot of fun though.

heck - it doesn't matter. just start doing the license and special events and then use whatever to race the other stuff. AI on beginner level are so slow it doesn't matter that much. I've been kicking ass in the March Cup car you win for something. untuned.

I'm trying to not buy any cars unless absolutely necessary to finish a race, just use what you win until you cant race any other races with what you have. Then buy fun stuff.


And I just realized something tonight (as I was contemplating buying a new Vitz so I could do that Vitz race... sold the one I won so I could buy tires for the Z4) - where the F did all the manufacturer races go????? I'm gonna have to throw GT4 in just to compare total number of races available. I'm thinking GT4 had WAY more than GT5... damn them....

Haha I bought a miata first, and I still havn't driven it. I got gold in all of the B license tests, then did the Kart challenge. I had enough to buy a Z4 and tune it moderately. I won more races, got a Z4 M, tuned the hell out of it won more races. Then bought a Lancia Delta for all the races you need an Italian car.

Already chose a weak ass yellow miata. I knew I shoulda picked up a Honda. They are the best cars ever you know. Oh well now I'll never be a cool kid. Thanks anyway J Bird

So what car should be my first?

I chose the Honda Civic Sii. It worked great as a first car with some of the mods. I won many races easily with it.
