I myself will go with 5...my girlfriend kept bugging me to help out on "garage days," so finally I let her. She did a better job than my friends usually do! Looks like "garage day" can be "girlfriend" day too... :)

That, and to prove that in order to own an E30...you pretty much need a girlfriend in the 3-5 range ;) These cars take a good chunk of our lives, so it's bound to conflict with whoever you're sharing that life with...
