As for mimicking the 318is, I tried using a '91 Miata for a while - it had fairly accurate shift points with a sport gearbox, but the handling didn't really feel right. Recently I've been trying the (old) Alfa GTA. As far as video games go, it feels pretty close to a 318is, it has that twitchy feel to it. Weight is way off, but that can be adjusted, as well as power of course. The redline and shift points are near perfect, and it doesn't sound unlike the M42 either. It's fun to drive even though it's slow.sigpic
