Why would you dump it? You could probably use it in your fryer for another couple months.

Yep and even "true" synthetics, ester based that is, like Redline/etc, are still refined from Petroleum.
Did you guys really think they were "synthetic?" If we could synthesize oil, do you think we'd need to buy it from the Saudi's?

I have some wheel dust shield and some "tire-shine" I bought last time I was in the U.S. from that same company-- I am 99% sure it was on clearance somewhere for like a dollar or 2.-- It works like crap- if at all - both of them-- don't know how the "oil" is, but based on the other 2 products from them, I will not buy again.Comment

If you read you would have seen that everyone knows synthetics are petroleum based still, the argument was that when synthetics first started there were huge skeptics about it, and that there would be no way it could be better than traditional oil. We all know how that turned out.
OP, looks like it could be a good product, and I say go for it, but you wont see it in my motor until it gets a few more reviews.

Regardless, I can't imagine it'll have an additive package suitable for the M20 valvetrain. That wouldn't be "green."If you read you would have seen that everyone knows synthetics are petroleum based still, the argument was that when synthetics first started there were huge skeptics about it, and that there would be no way it could be better than traditional oil. Speaking of "green", I don't think M20s like "green". Every time I pass a prius, I could swear a few extra HP show up out of nowhere, then disappear afterward.
